Using words like imaginary to downplay the very real downstream effects of this pandemic is shortsighted.

I don't know about the businesses you engage with, but the businesses I know put food on people's tables, and contribute to this thing called the economy, which ultimately lifts everybody's standard of living over time.

I wouldn't expect somebody with a short term and simplistic view of the world to understand.
