Entrepreneur to Employee
Reclaiming Your Identity After Startup Life
No, that’s not a typo.
After over a decade in the trenches building businesses — some that thrived, many that didn’t — this isn’t a post I imagined I’d write.
But here we are. And no, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. This is an article about going from entrepreneur… back to employee.
Yep.
From the guy who wrote Employee to Entrepreneur.
From the guy who waxed enthusiastic about entrepreneurship in over 400 episodes of his podcast Future Squared, wrote about the topic for Harvard Business Review, incubated 100 startups at Collective Campus, and spoke at SXSW.
That guy.
But after 12 years in the trenches, dozens of startup experiments, a global pandemic, and more questionable pivots than a web3 founder explaining why it’s now actually AI… I’m contemplating the unthinkable…getting a job.
Not because I failed.
But because I evolved (okay, I failed too — let’s be real, people!).
