As an Australian, I can't believe the United States' education / healthcare systems, and vacation policies.

We get free healthcare, our higher education is heavily subsidised and subject to interest-free Government loans that get repaid in small amounts over time out of your income tax bill, and we get 4 weeks leave.

The US leads the world in so many areas, but in these three critical areas it lags bigtime.
